Leisl Bag in Damsels & Doilies

Making poms is a lot of fun, I'll be adding some more bags soon to the shop with poms, I raided moms yarn this weekend!
I'm just wrapping up a new Laila too, should be in the shop by tomorrow!
Have a good week everyone!

Laila wants to be wined and dined!

Here's a new bag that's in the shop. I was laying in bed not sleeping as I should have been the other night and I had the feeling I had to make a round-ish inspired bag. And what better color for a round-ish bag...red...cherry red.

Tagged!

Well, it seems that Six Weird Things has caught on like wildfire. I was actually tagged a while back, but I forgot to tag others - duh, that's the fun part!!I was recently tagged again by Becki and Jessica.
So to be a good sport and tag my own bloggers here it is, 6 MORE weird/odd things about Mrs. Mary.

These I might not have originally shared with you all however my husband helped compile this list. ;)
1. I vacuum a LOT, see list #1 but deserved 2 spots for it's obvious husband annoyance.

2. "If I want to I can burp louder than most construction workers" - per my Husband.
3. I obsessively clean my glasses about 5 times a day.
4. I crack my knuckles, not constantly but a couple times a day.
5. I can't keep a hairstyle, I perpetually change color and cuts.
6. I let my dogs sleep in the bed every morning. Yes the obsessive vacuumer let's her dogs in her bed. Go figure.

OK, phew, glad that's over!! Now I tag, Jennifer, Amanda, Megan, Yvonne, Sara, and Carole so she has to start a blog!

Zzzzzzz

That's what a nap should look like!!

Hello friends, didnt' mean to leave you all with a that glass of frosty brew for so long. Hubby and I went to Elephant Bar and ejoyed some beer and calamari late Monday afternoon. Their calamari is really delicious, a little ginger flavor and the dipping sauce, oh so good. I'm anticipating a delicious new batch of fabrics this hopefully Friday, anyone thinking Spring yet? Yea, me either but I promise some pretty new fabrics in the shop very soon.
Ciao! ~m

A Lil' Bit of Cute

On my monitor I have this little Ballerina girl from Carole. Isn't she great?

Oh look what I got today at Michaels, not only were the ribbons cute but look at the cute wooden spools they come one, I'm a sucker!
I took off the icky cellophane, and added these cute white pearl pins instead - shelf ready I'd say!

Pouches and Potables

A belated (because of delivery not procrastination) Christmas gift from my hubby came today. The CD is Tea and Revenge by a group that's new to me called Dirty Martini. The band is local to Oregon and made up 3 women who used to all do the solo gig. I'm listening to them for the first time right now and so far #7 Enough of Empty is my fav, I'm really liking their style.

I added a new Leisl Pouch to the shop this evening, I added a couple Paige Pockets too but they sold already. ;) I'll be making more to add very soon.

Thanks from Little ol' Me!

Well, well all my lovely blog friends, Happy New Year to you all. I hope you all had a Christmas or Hanukkah filled with sugar plums, loved ones and fun filled memories.
I really do cherish all of my blog readers and I feel I have some great new friendships because of all of you. We may have never met in person but I think some of you are my Blog and crafty soulmates! Wow, can you get nerdy-er than that?

I've been MIA for a while with an icky head cold, wonderful way to ring in the New year huh? Those New Year's resolutions to crank the workouts up a notch will just have to wait.

I took a few weeks off of sewing but I finally got a shipment off today to The Little Pink Dress in Hyannis Mass. (Cape Cod), so now I can start making some new things for the online shop!

Meanwhile we are in the January '07 Issue of Dance Teacher Magazine, I know you all read it right? Not an obscure publication at all, right? Well, they are fans of the Estelle bag in Carnival blossom:

Thank you all for reading my little ol' blog in 2006, I hope to have lots of fun new products for you all in 2007 in the shop, maybe I'll figure out how to make my own masthead for this little blog this year. Well I must start the New Year off on a nice note and go write some Thank You's. Hugs! xoxo ~m
