Crafty for a Baby Shower

So I know I've been totally MIA as far as the shop has been concerned this Summer, we've been putting all our energy (which is lacking a little anyway lately with BabyMo using it up) toward finishing the remodel of our bedroom & bathroom.
I did do something crafty this past weekend though and figured I should share it with my Blog friends!
This was a gift for a girlfriends Baby shower, I got the set of suitcases at The Land of Nod - Love that store!
Then I made each suitcase for one of the family members, one for Mom, one for Dad and one for Baby. The Baby suitcase had a blanket I made with the babies last initial on it, this was my 1st attempt at using Wonder Under and I LOVED it!

The suitcase for Mom had a bunch of girly bath goodies, some oganic soap, a silky eye mask, bath pillow and don't forget the chocolate!

Dad's suitcase had the Baby Owner's Manual: Operating Instructions, Trouble-Shooting Tips, and Advice on First-Year Maintenance, this book is so funny, totally reads like a car manual! A bottle of Crown Royal accompanied the Dad's gift too.

The shower was great and I think the gift went over well!

BabyMo is growing strong these days, I'm just about done with my 1st Trimester, it's flying by! We got to hear the baby's heartbeat again last week and my belly is starting to take on a gradual new shape these days. I'm totally avoiding maternity shopping for as long as possible but that is a whole other post entirely! ;)

Cheers!

How freaking cute is that! OMG!

So um, you going to be making some of those blankies for the shop, or what?

I don't blame you. I didn't start the maternity pants until month 5. I used rubber bands around my jean buttons instead.
