Fly me Away

Well, I'm off tomorrow to San Diego/La Jolla for a long weekend and to go to a beach wedding. Looking forward to some nice dinners, wine and walking around with my hubby. We'll be staying here, I think we've become hotel room snobs a little lately, but this was the most reasonable that suited us. For as little as we travel I think it's ok though. ;)

I'll be making more Pastiche Petal Pins upon my return next week, I think they're super Mother's Day Gifts! The one in the pic here is in the shop now though.

I haven't disappeared...yet.

Sorry I've been so distant, just been busy. Mother nature teased us here in Denver with warm Spring like weather for a few weeks, but now it's 35 degrees and we're expecting up to 12 inches of snow in the next day and a half. Well, I'll be in San Diego next weekend so I should get some warm weather there atleast.

I'll be hopefully getting to this idea in the picture above soon, isn't it a great way to feature your fav fabrics in your house? I saw it originally here, and then again here. I have the hoops I just need to nail down what fabrics to use. If you want to do it the tutorial is here.

OK better get back to work but I just wanted to say hey! I have some custom order handbags I'm working on for a few new customers and I have to finish up a display for selling my ponies and clips at the hair salon where I get my do done. I'll post pics once it's done.
